Fig and goat cheese toast with rosemary and honeyPrint This
- 4 medium/large slices of farmhouse bread (or any good toast bread)
- 8 black figs, sliced
- 4 tbsp goat cheese (easier to spread if it's soft goat cheese)
- 1 sp rosemary, chopped (about 1 sprig)
- honey for drizzling
If you have a toaster oven, I prefer this. First toast your bread in the toaster oven (or toaster or oven) till it’s lightly toasted.
Next, spread goat cheese on the toast. Sprinkle the chopped rosemary on each piece and layer the sliced figs on top.
Put back in the oven or toaster oven on broil for about 5 minutes. The figs will be all soft, caramelized and delicious! Cut the toast in half for serving. Enjoy!
